How the Crossover Works
The UNTX bracket intentionally creates cross-conference paths so the strongest teams can emerge through postseason competition.
Seeds 1, 3, and 5 remain on their original side. Seeds 2, 4, and 6 cross over, while each conference’s No. 1 and No. 2 seeds receive a first-round bye.
