Youth Tackle Football in DFW – Safe, Competitive, and Fun

We are proud to offer one of the most trusted youth tackle football organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area at NCT Pee Wee Football. Our goal is safety, structure, and skill-building. We’re here to help young athletes learn, grow, and step onto the field with real confidence. Our contact football program does more than build physical strength—it teaches kids the deeper lessons of discipline, teamwork, and what it means to play with integrity and respect for others.

What is Tackle Football?

Tackle football teaches kids the basic skills of the game, such as discipline, coordination, and working together. Our youth tackle football leagues in DFW focus on safety and technique while providing kids with structured physical training to build strength, endurance, and confidence. Each player goes through a series of lessons to improve and fall in love with the game.

Tackle vs. Flag Football

Flag football focuses on agility and movement, while contact football emphasizes teamwork and greater challenge. Players wear the right gear so they can learn to tackle, block, and position themselves safely on defense. Playing youth tackle football teaches kids to be strong, aware, and self-disciplined.

Tackle Football Safety & Training

Equipment and Concussion Prevention

The top priority in every practice or game is safety. Players wear padding and certified helmets. However, we are aware that it requires more than simply distributing equipment. Before anyone takes to the field, our coaches inspect all equipment to ensure the straps fit safely and that nothing is worn thin or damaged. To help players learn to defend not only themselves but also one another, they also spend real time teaching proper tackling technique.

All of this creates an environment where kids can focus on what matters: learning the game, building skills, and having fun—without their parents worrying about injuries.

Background-Checked Coaches

We only trust certain people with your kids. There are no exceptions to the rule that every coach must go through interviews and background checks before they can go on the field.

However, experience on paper doesn’t mean you’re a great coach. Our staff knows how to work with kids. They are patient when teaching a new play, give clear instructions, and care about each child’s growth. They’ll help your child get better at football, but they’re also teaching them important things like how to work together, be responsible, and win or lose with grace. Kids don’t just get better at sports; they also become better people.

The Player Journey: From Beginner to Advanced

With our method, each child can start at their own level and move up through regular practice and training. The youth tackle football experience builds players’ confidence and skills step by step, preparing them for bigger challenges as they improve.

Football Practices (Two to Three Times a Week)

Regular practices help kids get in better shape while sharpening their skills. Consistent physical training gives young athletes a chance to build their endurance, stay focused, and really get the hang of essential football fundamentals.

Fall Season Game Schedule – Saturdays

Saturday games are a lifesaver for families. Your kid gets that Friday night to relax, then wakes up ready to play on Saturday morning. It’s exciting—they feel that game-day energy, the competition, and the chance to show what they’ve worked on all week—but it doesn’t take over everything.

Monday through Friday? They’re still regular kids. They go to school, do their homework, hang out with their friends, and get to bed at a decent hour. Football is a big part of their week, sure, but it’s not consuming their childhood.

That’s the whole point. We want them to love the game and compete hard, but also have time just to be kids—not little professionals with schedules that would exhaust an adult. Allowing them to enjoy without burning out or slipping behind in other areas is all about striking a balance.
